Meet the Founder
Alannah Dianne Heilweil is the founder and managing attorney of Lynx Law. She established a boutique law firm founded on the principles of exceptional customer service, superior legal representation, transparency, and most importantly, protection of her clients when they are most vulnerable. She understands the need for clients to feel safe with their attorney and remain informed every step of the way. Alannah takes great pride in delivering the highest quality of legal services, customized for the individual needs of each client. She provides solutions, expertise, and above all, comfort through emotionally trying situations.
Alannah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Sustainability with a concentration in Equity and Environmental Justice from George Mason University. She then continued her education and successfully obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration alongside her Juris Doctor degree from the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana. Alannah is licensed by the State Bar of Oregon.
Prior to her legal career, Alannah went to Cosmetology school and worked as both a stylist and manager in some of the country’s top salons. Here, she developed a passion for running client-centered businesses focused in exceptional customer service and problem-solving. This passion led to the opening of her first small business: Elite Paws, a dog walking and pet sitting company located in Alexandria, VA. Now on to her second business venture with Lynx Law, Alannah believes in the power of being an entrepreneur and business owner, and she is excited to help others create their legacies on their own terms.
Alannah is a proud pet parent to her dog, Porkchop, and cat, Storm. In her spare time, Alannah is a film buff who also enjoys reading, astrology, stargazing, and nature adventures. In addition to her private practice, Alannah is passionate about advancing animal rights and hopes to use her legal expertise to bring about change for animals in need of their own legal rights.
About Lynx Law
Drawing on her love of animals and the stars, Alannah was inspired to name Lynx Law after the animal and constellation of the same name. Lynx are elusive and mysterious animals, known in some Native American traditions as a ‘keeper of secrets’. Lynx are also believed to have supernatural eyesight, capable of seeing even through solid objects.
As a result, lynx often symbolize the unravelling of hidden truths, and the psychic power of clairvoyance. At Lynx Law, we evoke the lynx’s best qualities by being a fierce protector with supernatural sight for our clients.
